Essex County Council launched the Independence, Choice and Control Fund (ICCF) on Friday 28th November 2014

"The ICCF is an Outcomes Based Grants Programme for the Voluntary and Community Sector in Essex. Through this programme we want to fund projects designed to achieve independence, choice and control, and good health and wellbeing. Organisations applying for funding will need to outline in their applications how their proposed project will meet one of the following four outcomes:

1.        People are able to manage their own health and social care needs

2.        People are able to live in their own home for as long as possible

3.        People enjoy good health and wellbeing and have healthy lifestyles

4.        Individuals can make informed decisions, express their own needs and concerns and make their own voice heard

There are 3 year and 1 year grants available. The deadline for applications will be Friday 23rd January 2015. In order to bid for this funding, organisations will need to register on the Essex County Council Supplier Portal. If they have not already done this, they can do so by visiting http://www.essex.gov.uk/Business-Partners/Supplying-Council/.
