 The Great Wakering Household Waste Collection Point has been a great success. The last weekly collection was on 20th December. The next collection at the recreation ground will be on 10^th January 2015 and then every two weeks until the end of March 2015 when the service will end.

Rochford District Council have a meeting with  Southend Borough Council in the New Year to discuss possible arrangements from April 2015 on. Any agreement reached with their officers will then have to confirmed by Members of both Councils.
